Romo Crushed stood up for date by Farve


MINNEAPOLIS - As the Minneapolis Cheescake Factory shut off its lights at closing Sun. night, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo sat alone in the lobby staring out into the carpark. 'He stated that he meet me here after the game,' related Romo of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre. 'I guess something particularly important came up. I know he wouldn't just blow me off like this.' Favre, Romo's idol being raised in Wisconsin, beat the Cowboys handily sunday. Though they have got a competition on the field, Romo felt he had a strong closeness with his hero. 'I gave him the other 1/2 my Best Friends Forever pendant,' expounded Romo, as he checked his telephone for messages. 'I wore mine in the game. I'm hoping he wore his.' Favre was not available for comment but was heard in the Minnesota locker room making'Romo is a homo' jokes. TAUNTR.com
